Sarah Haines will be the new Headteacher of
Bradon Forest School when Julie Dickson retires.
There were 15 national (and overseas)
applicants and a shortlist of 4 were interviewed
by members, trustees and local governors as
well as a staff panel consisting of Roz Allen,
Kerry Beet, Mathew Vines and Toby Widdop.
John Scott, LGB Chair said 'I am delighted that
we have selected Sarah from a competitive field
of applicants to be the next Headteacher of
Bradon Forest School. As Chair of Governors, I
look forward to working with Sarah both before
and after her appointment becomes substantive
in September, in taking the school forward during
the next few years.'
Sarah was born in Gloucestershire and went to
Katharine Lady Berkeley’s School which is also
where her children go to school. Having always
been an avid reader, it was an NQT teacher in
the Sixth Form who inspired Sarah’s passion for
literature and the choice to study English at
University.
