EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME

The most important way of ensuring the best education for all our students is to invest in
attracting and looking after excellent staff.

We are committed to listening to our staff and to doing everything we can to make Athelstan a
great organisation to work for. We promote flexible working and we have recently introduced a
Cycle to Work scheme, a Menopause Policy and an Eye Test Policy.

We are pleased to announce a new, confidential employee benefit designed to help you deal with
personal and professional problems that could be affecting your home or work life, health and
general wellbeing. All you have to do to access the free, 24 hour Employee Assistance
Programme is to call 0800 028 0199 and say you work for the Athelstan Trust (using the code
provided by your school). There is no way anyone within Athelstan will know who has contacted
the service which is also available to partners and dependents (aged 16-24 living in the same
