12. In between lessons move about. You are sitting down a lot and that is not good for you. Stretch those
limbs - they will thank you for it later.
13. Be aware that you can show
examples by writing on paper with
the camera pointed at the page.
This is especially good for detailing
diagrams, explanations and
pictures that you maybe want to
show not in your PPT or if you
forget something and want to add it
in or if you want to go off tangent
when someone has a good idea.
The Cover Supervisors know how
to swap from one screen to another
so just ask them to do it!
14. Background: make sure you
a r e h a p p y w i t h t h e
background to your teaching.
A blank wall is great if you can
but otherwise you may need
to cover up what is behind
you. You do not want anything
too busy and for that matter
too interesting that the
students pay more attention
to that THAN TO YOU.

16. Timings: you will be more aware of timings as you can see a clock on the computer, but you will also see
how much is wasted!
17. So, there are many other things that I could say especially as I have had to learn from a few mistakes
